The Natural Relaxer Application Instructions
The Natural Relaxer is an innovative state of the art curl relaxer system. It was designed to soften and loosen your natural curl without breaking the bonds in your hair like traditional relaxers.
You will experience soft, shiny, healthier looking hair that can be worn curly, wavy or straight!

STEP ONE
Take a dime-sized amount of petroleum jelly and apply it around your hairline, ears and neck. Although the natural relaxer has no harsh chemicals, some people are sensitive to cosmetic ingredients even natural ones.
For extra sensitive scalps use the 100% Shea Butter to base your entire scalp.
Apply the Natural curl relaxer to your entire head of hair beginning at the most resistant area 1/2 inch from your scalp. After you completed the application to all of your hair. Go back and apply the curl relaxer to the areas of you hair near the scalp. (You will not need gloves unless you have abrasions on your hands or are particularly sensitive.)
RE-TOUCH (prior application of the Natural relaxer, or other chemical hair relaxer or perm.)
You must have at least one inch of new growth or untreated hair - about 6-8 weeks without a touch up.
Apply the natural curl relaxer to the new growth only! |

STEP TWO
Smooth the hair flat for a straight look or allow the natural curl relaxer to sit on your hair for textured/curly styles
NATURAL HAIR TYPES PROCESSING TIME
NI- LOOSE CURL/FINE/THIN 15- 20 minutes
N2- LOOSE CURL 15- 20 minutes
N3- MEDIUM TEXTURE 20- 25 minutes
N4- TIGHTLY CURLED /RESISTANT 25- 30 minutes
N5- VERY TIGHTLY CURLED/COARSE 30- 35 minutes
For less curl add 5 minutes processing time and to keep texture texture and curl substract 5 minutes of processing time. |

STEP THREE
Rinse hair thoroughly and apply African wonders soft curl shampoo (do not substitute!) lather and rinse, then repeat. Make sure all shampoo is rinsed from the hair.
Towel blot excess water |

STEP FOUR
Apply the African Wonders Moisture curl conditioner (do not substitute!) through-out hair and using wide - tooth comb with rubber tips, comb through.
P.S (The Moisture curl conditioner is a leave in conditioner and can be left in)
After 5 minutes rinse with warm then cool water. Towel blot to remove excess water |

STEP FIVE
Silky straight look - Apply a very tiny amount of the African Wonders H2O Heat Styling Conditioner (It's very concentrated) throughout hair and blow dry straight. Turn the ends with a curling iron.
Fuller smooth look - Apply African Wonders Hair Shield setting lotion and wet set on large rollers and sit under a hood dryer.Press and Curl - Apply a very small amount of the African Wonders H2O Heat styling conditioner or African wonders natural Press throughout hair and press and curl as usual.Curly or Way look - Apply a very small amount of the Styling gel throughout hair and let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer with a diffuser.
For all other looks, style as usual. (Wrap, twist braid etc...) |

STEP SIX -
Maintenance
For best results; Shampoo Natural relaxed hair with a compatible natural ingredient shampoo, and follow with a natural ingredient moisturising conditioner.
For Natural styles and wash and wear looks, use the a natural ingredient moisturising leave in conditioner.
Use the African Wonders Natural Press daily to keep the hair moisturized and ends tame.
Re-Touch your African Wonders Natural relaxer every 4-6 weeks and have your ends trimmed.
NB.
After the application of your Natural Relaxer your hair may look the same but it is not the same! Your curl is Thermo-genicly relaxed. It will always return to a textured state because the bonds are not broken, but it will easily give you a curly, wavy or straight look when wet set or thermal styled.
You will also notice that your hair will be easier to blow dry, softer to touch and resistant to humidity. Enjoy:)
CAUTION
If you have sensitive skin or suffer from allergies, give your self a patch test. Take 1/2 tsp of the curl Relaxer and put it on the inside of your elbow. If you feel any sensation, or your skin begins to redden after ten minutes, you may be allergic to the natural ingredients. Rinse off immediately and wash the area with the soft curl shampoo. You may return the natural Relaxer kit for a full refund |
